Privacy Policy

Vapor Tobacco Manufacturing LLC (the “Company”) has established the following privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) regarding the protection of personal information of the Company’s customers (including those in charge of the Company’s business partners) and will handle personal information appropriately in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

 

1. Items of Personal Information to Be Collected

The Company will obtain the following personal information related to its customers.

  1. Information Related to Identification
    Name, telephone number, e-mail address, etc.

  2. Other Information
    Information, etc. related to inquiries, communications, etc. from customers to the Company

 

2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

The Company will acquire and use customers’ personal information within the scope of the following purposes of use (“Purposes of Use”).

(i) To respond to inquiries and contact customers

(ii) To research and analyze marketing data, and to consider and implement marketing measures

(iii) To improve products and services provided by the Company, and to plan, research and develop new products and services

(iv) To respond to requests for presentation by regulatory authorities

(v) To prevent and respond to fraud, etc.

 

3. Contractors to Whom the Company Outsource the Handling of Personal Information

When the Company outsources the handling of personal information to a third party, the Company will conduct a rigorous investigation of the third party and supervise them appropriately to ensure that confidentiality is maintained.

 

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company will not provide personal information handled by it to third parties other than subcontractors without obtaining the prior consent of the customer, except in the following cases

(i) When required by law.

(ii) When it is necessary for the protection of the life, body, or property of an individual and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the customer.

(iii) When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or to promote the sound growth of children and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the customer.

(iv) When it is necessary to cooperate with a national agency, a local government, or an individual or entity entrusted by either a national agency or local government to execute affairs prescribed by law, and obtaining the customer’s consent is likely to impede the execution of such affairs.

(v) Other cases permitted by laws and regulations.

 

5. Security Control Measures for Personal Information

The Company will take the following necessary and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information handled by it and to otherwise safely manage personal information.

(i) The Company will maintain the accuracy and up-to-dateness of personal information and ensure daily security management.

(ii) The Company will take appropriate precautions to prevent leakage, loss, alteration, or damage of personal information, as well as unauthorized access to personal information and computer virus infiltration. In the unlikely event that a problem arises, the Company will promptly take corrective measures.

(iii) The Company will not take personal information out of the Company’s premises or transmit personal information outside the Company, or otherwise leak personal information.

(iv) When outsourcing all or part of its business to a third party, the Company will impose confidentiality obligations on the person who uses and manages the personal information, as well as provide appropriate supervision.

 

6. Request for Disclosure Etc. of Personal Information

When the Company receives a request for disclosure, etc. (meaning a request for notification of purpose of use, disclosure of personal information, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, deletion, etc.) of personal information handled by it, the Company will respond to the request appropriately and promptly.

 

7. Changes to Privacy Policy

The Company may change, modify, or add to this Privacy Policy from time to time in its sole discretion or as required by law.
